FolderForge is a free, open-source desktop application designed to help users create, manage, and deploy reusable folder structures. The Application operates entirely offline on your local machine and does not require an internet connection to function.
3. Open Source License
FolderForge is open-source software. The source code is publicly available on GitHub. You are free to inspect, fork, modify, and distribute the code in accordance with the project's license.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Implied warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy or completeness of the software
5. Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for any damage caused to your PC, files, data, or any other property through the use of this application.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPERS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR MAINTAINERS OF FOLDERFORGE BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Loss of data or files
- System corruption or damage
- Loss of business or profits
- Computer malfunction or downtime
- Any other damages arising from the use or inability to use the Application
This limitation applies regardless of the cause of action and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

FolderForge is an open-source tool. Use it responsibly.
You are solely responsible for:
- Backing up your data before using the Application
- Reviewing folder structures before deploying them to your filesystem
- Ensuring the Application is suitable for your intended use
- Any consequences resulting from your use of the Application
7. No Guarantees
We do not guarantee that the Application will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected. The Application is a community-driven, open-source project maintained on a best-effort basis. We make no guarantee of continued development, support, or updates.
8. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

These terms shall be interpreted under applicable law. Any disputes arising from the use of FolderForge shall be resolved informally, in good faith, before pursuing any formal legal action.
